We started getting into the 2008 iGem Jamboree during Wendell’s presentation on synthetic biology. I got all nostalgic, thinking about the events that unfolded at MIT. I most vividly remember the questioning after the presentation. Terrifying. And I think about how much more prepared I want to be this year. It’s going to be different. I am most definitely ready to take on all the information and make sure the judges know that we know what the hell we’re talking about. I really hope the team will be ready by then, as well. But I’m sure they will be. Everyone’s pretty amazing this year. I can’t wait until they see us waving from such great heights…
