Eat. Sleep. Chemotax. iGEM ♥
This whole July 3rd national holiday thing has been a topic of conversation recently. Popular opinion concludes July 3rd is not a national holiday.
Since the shuttles aren’t running today, the team has the day off. But the lab should know better by now; someone will come in. Finally, I get to decide when my day begins. And so, I slept in and started work at one. It was just Edna, Ethan, Allen, Katja, Jacinto and myself today. I was expecting labwork in bulk, but most of the work to be completed was not related to team HL-60’s work. Regardless, team dicty kicked our HL-60 asses in attendance. But Ryan and I have been owned by mammalian cells all week.
I helped Aynur with some digests and a gel. Other than that, I was useless. Fortunately, Allen had thirty transformations before the “workday” ended. I love work in bulk, so I offered to help. It’s been a while since I’ve done a load of work on my own.

I smell success… or perhaps just bacteria…
